Bears Win!!!!

Sunday, January 21, 2007 | Jeff

Today is Rex Grossman. Be smart, play smart and guide your team to the biggest game in any of their lives.

Today is Brian Urlacher. You're one of the greatest players this organization has ever had. Give yourself a chance to play for what Singletary has, what Butkus never did.

Today is Olin Kreutz. You spurned more money from Miami to stay here. Now give yourself a chance to go down there and show them why.

Today is Thomas Jones. You may not be Sayers or Payton or even Neal Anderson but today you can forever install yourself into the history of the most storied sports franchise in the universe.

Today is Cedric Benson. This team will be on your back the next five years. Start today.

Today is for Robbie Gould, Brad Maynard, Devin Hester. Be special.

Today is for the fans of the Chicago Bears. We've waited nearly 20 years for the chance to play in the final game and today it happens. We've worn our loyalty like a pair of ripped jeans and this afternoon that loyalty is rewarded. Bear down, Chicago Bears. Win. Win and bask in the glory of our praise for the next two weeks. Win and every Grossman interception, Tank arrest...becomes a memory.

Win. Today. Just win.

A beutifull House in Vieques

This is a great looking property I visited while I was in Vieques.

This is a view from the kitchen towards the terrace.

The details included mahogany, glass, stainless steel, the outside chaise lounge were imported from France. The work was done by Steve Mensch from New York.

This is a view from the terrace towards the house.

Another shot of my Ubuntu Linux desktop

I just have to say that this is amazing!!! If you need a change this is the way to go!!

http://it.slashdot.org/it/06/08/03/180206.shtml

This is what Slashdot had to say about Windows Vista:

"Paul Thurrott answers the question that some IT folks are asking: 'Is Windows Vista Ready?' His answer is not only no, but 'No. God, no. Today's Windows Vista builds are a study in frustration, and trust me, I use the darn thing day in and day out, and I've seen what happens when you subject yourself to it wholeheartedly. I think I've mentioned the phrase "I could hear the screams" on the SuperSite before.' He also addresses the more important question, 'When Will Microsoft figure out what's important?' and to Paul, like most IT pros, its not about when the next OS will be released, it is about having the OS work."

I never thought I was going to become a linux geek!

But I did... the software that is at fault from my falling with Windows is called Ubuntu Linux and this is how it looks on my desktop.

Great Wines from Chile

Last Friday I visited Château Rouge in the Hato Rey Area and the place had a great ambiance they were playing Michael Buble in addition to they also had a live piano player “He remind me of the old lounge singers from Vegas”, as well as some really good wines from the Chile Region, they are single vineyard wines and at first the VIU cabernet was a little close but after a couple of minutes it opened up to a blackberry/currant like flavor.

The VIU Malbec and the Vampire cabernet were easy to drink and friendly to the palate, but full of flavor. If you want to know more click on the links and see the Vino for yourself.

VIU Manent Malbec

VIU Manent Cabernet

Vampire Cabernet

They were al interesting wines in addition to the Prosciutto, Manchego and Hummus Tapas we had as accompaniments. It was a great night.
